Photosynth es un proyecto que está llevando microsoft y que pretende mediante el análisis de miles de fotos, crear galerías de imagenes de un mismo lugar para permitir al usuario moverse en tres dimensiones por el lugar. Bastante llamativo y potente, me imagino que ahora lo que necesitan es una base de fotos que yo creo, solo flickr tiene.

This is a book about cities in general and New York, London, Shangai, Berlin, Mexico City and Johannesbourg in particular. Very interesting research about cities evolution and the diferences betwen them.

Endless cities is un libro sobre las ciudades en general y sobre New York, London, Shangai, Berlin, Mexico City y Johannesbourg en particular. Muy interesante la investigación sobre la evolución de las ciudades y las diferencias entre ellas.

World Café Europe es una iniciativa interesante para reunirse y hablar. Gente de toda Europa se juntará en Bilbao y para hablar en grupos de 4 personas durante 20 minutos. Después tres cambian de mesa entrando otros tres que retomarán la conversación que la persona que se quedó les explicará. Al final se expondrán las ideas más interesantes.

World Café Europe is an interesting meeting to talk. People from all Europe will go to Bilbao to chat about everything. The method is to ghate four people to speak about a theme around of a table, after 20 min, three of them will change their positions to other table. Now the person who remains in the table explain the conversation before to the new people. At the end, they’ll show the most interesting ideas. It’s like a speeddating.

¿Te imaginas un telescopio que llegara tan tan lejos como de Nueva York a Londres?, tienes buena imaginación, pero… ¿Has pensado que la tierra es redonda? Por muy supertelescopio que tuvieras, este no podría salvar la curvatura de la tierra. Claro, que hoy en día, todo eso se puede salvar con una super conexión de video.

Más o menos es lo que han creado a un y otro lado del océano Atlántico. Dos telescopios falsos que proyectan lo que está pasando en la otra ciudad. Interesante por lo menos ¿no?

Lo que más me gusta es el tema de mirar para ver a los otros y ser visto. Posiblemente nunca habrías visto a esas personas de otra manera, esas personas realmente están como a 9.000 Km de distancia, pero se ven como si se miraran por una ventana.

Si tienes a tu novia allí y tu estás aquí, siempre podrás hacer una videoconferencia ¿no?
