Detrás de Grandegraphix hay un gorila que fotografía e ilustra. Este año, ha sido incluido dentro de Descubrimientos PHOTOESPAÑA08 con I Shot the seriff, una serie documental que cuestiona la iconografía del poder político y su descontextualización en espacio y tiempo, a través de fotografías realizadas en obsoletos museos y casas en Praga, Tokyo, Madrid, Túnez y Berlín.

La inauguración será el viernes 6 de Junio a las 20.00h en el Complejo El Águila, una antigua fábrica de cerveza en la calle Ramírez del Prado 3, Madrid.

Behind Grandegraphix are a gorilla who take pictures and draw. This year he has included into the Show Descubrimientos PHOTOESPAÑA08 with I Shot the Seriff, a documentary serie that questions the iconography of political power & it’s decontextualization in space & time, through pictures taken in outdated museums & houses around Prague, Tokyo, Madrid , Tunis & Berlin.

Hoy 4 de Junio comienza PHE08 (Photo España 2008) hasta el 27 de Julio.

Este año las exposiciones giraran en torno al tema Lugar.

Serán 68 exposiciones, 32 en la Sección Oficial y 36 en el Festival Off, con obras de 230 artistas y creadores de 35 nacionalidades.

Se podrá ver los trabajos de Javier Vallhonrat, Thomas Demand, Roni Horn y Florian Maier-Aichen, así como de maestros de la fotografía como W. Eugene Smith, Bill Brandt y Robert Smithson.

World Café Europe es una iniciativa interesante para reunirse y hablar. Gente de toda Europa se juntará en Bilbao y para hablar en grupos de 4 personas durante 20 minutos. Después tres cambian de mesa entrando otros tres que retomarán la conversación que la persona que se quedó les explicará. Al final se expondrán las ideas más interesantes.

World Café Europe is an interesting meeting to talk. People from all Europe will go to Bilbao to chat about everything. The method is to ghate four people to speak about a theme around of a table, after 20 min, three of them will change their positions to other table. Now the person who remains in the table explain the conversation before to the new people. At the end, they’ll show the most interesting ideas. It’s like a speeddating.
